As a web designer I can truly say, Flash is spectacular. As a web viewer such as yourself, you'll find Flash to be breathtaking.

So what can you do with Flash?
As an example, you can have a beautiful splash page:

For practical purposes, here is a convenient list that Flash can be used for.

Navigation buttons - Flash can be used to create fantastic navigation buttons with sounds that give the user instant feedback.
Splash Page - First impressions are important, use Flash to create a beautiful splash page with an enter button. When the user presses enter, Flash can redirect the user to a regular HTML page or to another Flash movie.
Photo Gallery - If you have the flash plugin and a somewhat newer browser, you'll see at the top of this page a flash movie showing off a photo gallery. You can easily have your own photo gallery with any kind of transition between pictures that you want. Your imagination is the limit.
